Contact Gregory Williams, Cooridnator at (850) 201-8391 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Once the completed form has been received, it is reviewed by the calendar committee for completion. The information for nominees is compiled by the calendar committee in a ballot format for voting by the calendar committee.
Only the information included on the nomination form by the nominator will be included on the ballot; BALLOTS WILL EXCLUDE THE NAMES OF THE NOMINATOR AND BUT WILL CONTAIN THE NAME OF THE INDIVIDUAL NOMINATED, ALONG WITH INFORMATION EXPLAINING WHY THE INDIVIDUAL WAS NOMINATED. Nominee must be a current or retired African-American educator, teacher or school-related employee in an educational institution located in Gadsden, Leon, or Wakulla county - Nominee must demonstrate (have demonstrated) achievements that have contributed to the advancement of minorities.
The form is then distributed to all committee members for voting and must be responded to by a set deadline.
Points are tallied for each nominated individual and honorees are determined based on those receiving the highest total points. Chosen nominees and the nominators are notified of the selection. Nominators of nominees not selected for the calendar are notified. The process for selected honorees begins with the request and/or verification of organization information and scheduling to have their photos taken.
We appreciate your involvement in making TCC aware of the many contributions made by individuals in Leon, Gadsden and Wakulla counties.
