Health Informatics Specialist Certificate

The Health Informatics Specialist Certificate program prepares students to apply their knowledge of health information and electronic health record systems to function in a supportive role between health care providers and data reporting. Students can seek employment in a variety of health care settings such as health informatics specialist, health informatics technician, health informatics consultant, data quality manager, electronic health records (EHR) manager, EHR clinical coordinator or EHR product representative.

Program Purpose:
To prepare students for employment in a variety of healthcare settings as health informatics specialist, health informatics technician, health informatics consultant, data quality manager, electronic health records (EHR) manager, EHR clinical coordinator or EHR product representative. Students will apply knowledge of health information and electronic health record systems to function in a supportive role between healthcare providers and data reporting.
