TCC Police Chief Graduates from Chief Executive Seminar

Tallahassee Community College Chief of Police Wesley S. Hardin graduates from the 55th Chief Executive Seminar through the Florida Criminal Justice Executive Institute. Chief Hardin is one of 19 chief executives from criminal justice agencies around Florida to graduate from the program. Participants met for one week a month for three months, taking classes on topics such as future trends, social media, risk management, stress management, succession planning, and communicating in a crisis. TCC Earns $90,000 in NACCE’s Pitch for the Skilled Trades and Pitch for the Foundation Competitions

Teams from Tallahassee Community College participated in the Pitch for the Skilled Trades and the inaugural Pitch for the Foundation competitions at the National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE) Annual Conference in Boston. Eugene Lamb Elected Chair of TCC District Board of Trustees

The Tallahassee Community College District Board of Trustees elected Eugene Lamb, Jr. as chair at their August meeting this week. Lamb has served on the Board since 2007 when he was appointed by Governor Charlie Crist and has since been re-appointed to five consecutive terms by Governors Rick Scott and Ron DeSantis. He has also been elected to three previous terms as chair of the Board at TCC. The Army veteran and former teacher represents Gadsden County. Read More
TCC Receives $1.6 Million from Governor’s Job Growth Grant Fund

Governor Ron DeSantis has awarded almost $1.6 million to TCC through the Florida Job Growth Grant Fund to increase and enhance workforce education opportunities in the healthcare industry.
