Game On: Tallahassee Community College Kicks Off Esports Season

Competitive computer-based video gaming is the newest sport added to the athletics roster at Tallahassee Community College. Family Study Room Now Available in TCC Library

The Tallahassee Community College Library now features a Family Study Room. The study space was created for students who need to use the library while accompanied by their young children. TCC’s Florida Public Safety Institute to Host 15th Annual Bloodhound Scent Tracking Seminar

The Tallahassee Community College Florida Public Safety Institute (FPSI) is hosting the 15th annual Bloodhound Scent Tracking Seminar, September 11 through 16, 2022. The week-long training program draws teams from around the state and country. TCC and Florida DJJ Launch Project Anchor

Tallahassee Community College has partnered with the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) to launch a pilot program focused on workforce education for youth in DJJ facilities. Project Anchor, which will provide career-readiness skills, industry-recognized training and certifications in targeted sectors, and career pathways for youth to seamlessly continue their education at a Florida college or district post-secondary institution, is the first of its kind. Eugene Lamb Elected Chair of TCC District Board of Trustees

The Tallahassee Community College District Board of Trustees elected Eugene Lamb, Jr. as chair at their August meeting this week. Lamb has served on the Board since 2007 when he was appointed by Governor Charlie Crist and has since been re-appointed to five consecutive terms by Governors Rick Scott and Ron DeSantis. TCC Receives $1.6 Million from Governor’s Job Growth Grant Fund

Governor Ron DeSantis has awarded almost $1.6 million to TCC through the Florida Job Growth Grant Fund to increase and enhance workforce education opportunities in the healthcare industry. Tallahassee Community College Honors Businesses at Third Annual Blue and Gold Society Luncheon
