TCC Forensics Team Places Second in State Tournament

Tallahassee Community College is pleased to share that the TCC forensics team placed second in the Overall Team Sweepstakes at the 2024 Florida Intercollegiate Forensics Association (FIFA) State Championship. Additionally, ten members of the team captured the state title in the Individual Events Sweepstakes. Tallahassee Community College will host Aspire Day on Friday, April 19 at 2 p.m. The event will kick off in the Student Union Ballroom. Students and their families are encouraged to attend to learn about the Aspire transfer program and have the opportunity to meet with admissions navigators and academic advisors, tour the campus, and explore academic programs and extracurricular opportunities available at TCC. Governor DeSantis Signs TCC Name Change Into Law

Today, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed Senate Bill 522 into law, renaming Tallahassee Community College as Tallahassee State College. The governor signed the bill at an event at the Capitol, joined by Senator Corey Simon, Tallahassee Community College (TCC) President Jim Murdaugh, TCC Trustees Eugene Lamb, Jr., Frank Messersmith, Karen B.
